You're invited to a hand-building pottery workshop on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 10 am to 1:30. The workshop will take place at my home in Herald Island. Whether you’re new to clay or have prior experience, this 3.5-hour workshop offers a nurturing, therapeutic space to slow down, get grounded, and reconnect through making. What You'll Learn These workshops are focused on sculptural hand-building techniques, including: coiling, pinch methods Rather than following rigid templates, you’ll be guided through building organic, asymmetrical forms that emerge from your own intuition and creativity. The emphasis is on process, not perfection — allowing the clay and your hands to meet in an authentic, expressive way. Clay and tools are provided. As I don’t currently have access to my kiln, firing is not included. I can share details of some great studios that can handle the firing for you. You’ll just need to drop your piece off with them, and it will be ready for collection in a few weeks, depending on their schedule. Everything you need will be provided: clay, tools, and support. A Therapeutic, Grounding Experience ***Address will be emailed 3-4 days before the workshop date*** Warm Drinks & Good Company I’ll have tea, coffee, and homemade cake ready to share during our break.
