You're invited to a hand-building pottery workshop on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, from 10 am to 1:30 pm in the peaceful surrounds of West Auckland’s rural landscape. Whether you’re new to clay or have prior experience, this 3.5-hour workshop offers a nurturing, therapeutic space to slow down, get grounded, and reconnect through making. What You'll Learn These workshops are focused on sculptural hand-building techniques, including: coiling, pinch methods Rather than following rigid templates, you’ll be guided through building organic, asymmetrical forms that emerge from your own intuition and creativity. The emphasis is on process, not perfection — allowing the clay and your hands to meet in an authentic, expressive way. All Materials Provided – Clay, Tools, Firing Everything you need will be provided: clay, tools, and support. After the workshop, your creation will be double-fired off-site. Your finished piece will be ready for collection or delivery in approximately six weeks. A Therapeutic, Grounding Experience Set in a calm rural location — yet only 30 minutes from Auckland CBD — the workshop offers a real sense of retreat. The pace is slow, the group is small, and the atmosphere encourages stillness, exploration, and reconnection with self. ***Address will be emailed 3-4 days before the workshop date*** Warm Drinks & Good Company Feel free to bring your own lunch or snack.
